Working only for the defense side his entire career, Nicholas has worked for the San Diego County Alternate Public Defender in Downtown San Diego, as well as working for the Defender Association of Philadelphia and the Federal Defender in Camden, NJ, during law school.  Nicholas also has experience working with both a private criminal defense firm and a private detective firm, where he assisted clients, including attorneys, with defenses based on complex investigations and forensic evidence examination.  This broad experience has helped Nicholas to have a strong grasp of the scientific, personal, legal and professional aspects of criminal defense work.

Nicholas attended the prestigious College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA.  William & Mary is the nation's second oldest college, and boasts many famous alumni, including four United States Presidents.  In college, Nicholas was an active member of the school's highly acclaimed Varsity debate team.  Nicholas was also a member of the Nu Chapter of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity.  After College, Nicholas attended Law School at Villanova University in Pennsylvania.  While at Villanova, Nicholas excelled in Trial Advocacy and Advanced Trial Advocacy, while focusing his studies on criminal law, criminal procedure, constitutional law and developing strong trial skills with real life experience in court.  Nicholas won his first criminal court trial, for a client charged with criminal threats against a police officer, before even graduating from law school. 

He has since continued to fight hard for clients and achieve great results at every stage and for a broad range of cases.  Nicholas has handled cases ranging from DUI to homicide, including but not limited to: petty theft, grand theft, domestic violence, drug sales, weapon possession, vandalism, all the way up to more serious crimes like assault with a deadly weapon and homicide.
